Roy Paci

Roy Paci is a Sicilian trumpet player, composer, arranger, singer, and producer, known for his distinctive and eclectic musical style. His sound blends Mediterranean influences with Latin idioms such as samba and cumbia, alongside elements of ska, reggae, R&B, and jazz.

Over the past two decades, Roy has performed extensively across Europe and Latin America, both as a solo artist and with his band Aretuska. His live performances are known for their energy and genre-crossing appeal.

Roy’s work reflects a hybrid and highly personal approach, combining diverse musical traditions into a cohesive and recognisable sound that resonates with international audiences.

Alongside his musical career, Roy is actively involved in charitable initiatives. He supports campaigns by Amnesty International and Pangea focused on ending violence against women, as well as Emergency, which provides medical assistance in war zones.

He is also involved with the superband Rezophonic, which supports AMREF in building water wells for communities in the Kajiado region of Kenya.
